I don't know where to begin with Luke and Britta's wedding. We were so fortunate to shoot this absolutely perfect day with perfect weather and a perfect couple. And yea, I'm gonna keep saying perfect. Not only was it a September wedding, which is our favorite month because all the light is gorgeous and no one is sweating or freezing, but the entire day was full of unique elements that made us very excited. And that's the most important thing on anyone's wedding day: that we are excited.
Grandmas for flower girls? Check. Bridal party walked down carrying drinks in lieu of flowers? Mhmmm. Bride wore a non-traditional gold dress that rocked my world? Double check. The happy couple got tattoos instead of rings? Check. Cocktail hour before the ceremony where everyone was just relaxed and got to hang with the bride and groom? Yes. Lots of time at twilight to let us get amazeballs photos? YES.
And now for a quick infomercial to all future brides: this is why we want to take your pictures at twilight. You can't make this magic at 2 in the afternoon. The end.
