Well here we are! The first wedding of the season after our long winter hiatus filled with hot chocolate, Netflix, and sweats. And yes, it was as glamorous as it sounds. There could not have been a better place to kick everything off than at the Starline -an old factory turned wedding venue, which we absolutely love.
Honestly, I don't know what to tell you about Kyle and Katie's wedding aside from the fact that I spent this entire day feeling simultaneously jealous and excited. And also, a large part of it pondering how to convince Katie to go into the wedding planning business - with the ultimate goal that she would plan all the weddings I shoot, which would make my life much easier. Once you see these photos you'll understand what I'm saying.
Future brides: take notes. Details matter - they make your wedding ablum interesting and unique. Sentimental touches, colorful details, vintage items, and decor that ties into aspects of your personalities are always a win.
And this wedding? #somuchwinning
Ladies, I have a serious question. Can you even get enough of this vintage flowery reception necklace? ME EITHER.
I tried to steal this vintage couch, but it didn't fit in our car (eye roll).
I pretty much knew as soon as I received the invitation, this wedding was going to make me very happy.
I can't even with these cupcake wrappers. Can YOU even?
And I'm going to post all black and white reception pictures .... because that's what I feel like doing, ok?
You know when none of the men want to catch the garter so they all just stare at it as it hits the floor.
We were so honored to capture this beautiful day! Special thanks to the following vendors:
Starline Factory in Harvard, IL
Swiss Maid Bakery, Ashley Flores
