Nope. Still don't take picture of newborns or toddlers. I understand how the following pictures might seem contradictory to my opening statement. Can you just go with the flow and not worry about it?
Some exceptions are made to that rule if: a) you are my close friend b) I happen to be invited to your child's first birthday party and c) I happen to bring my new camera that I have no idea how to operate. That might have been what happened here. And there might be some more to follow since I have four first birthday parties this fall. So many cupcakes.

But can we just agree that my friends' kids are probably the cutest you've ever seen? Even on those baby food commercials? In fact, they should probably be on baby food commercials then Aunt Brit could retire to Boca Raton. Think about it, kids.
