If there was an award for best smelling wedding reception - Ryan + Amanda's wedding would get it. Not only was lavender one of the accent colors, but the entire reception tent smelled of fresh lavender. We were all very relaxed and ready for sleep.
Not really. Everything was too awesome for that, but the smells were a bonus for sure.
We were so excited for this wedding because it was a referral from one of our 2016 couples, and since they were awesome, we knew their friends would be too. Ryan + Amanda currently live in Phoenix and so I have to give some serious props to pulling off such a gorgeous wedding long distance! The weather could NOT have cooperated better, even though there was some random flooding from recent torrential downpours on the course - it was just perfect!
We had such a great time with you guys and your amazing bridal party - thank you all for being so helpful, fun, and not ruining our candid photos by staring at the camera when we're just trying to creep. Congratulations!
I think this table assignment situation was the culprit of the awesome smells. Note lavender buds.
And now for the best part of the day.
And now for your installment of Who Walked It Better?
I mean, how many brides you know who can limbo while carrying a giant bouquet AND a basket of bug spray?
