Way back when I first started taking photos, I did some senior pictures for Lindsay’s sister, Mallory. Back in those days, I wanted nothing to do with dogs (she brought hers to the shoot, which I begrudgingly admitted was quite cute) and certainly nothing to do with weddings. Fast forward some years and here I am… sitting next to a goldendoodle named Bernie who runs my life, while I’m blogging wedding photos for Lindsay. Life is kind of funny that way, isn’t it?
A lot of things made Tony + Lindsay’s wedding special— including both being pharmacists who got married at the same place they were engaged. But one of my favorite moments was at the reception when I saw the bride and groom’s dads embracing each other — I could tell these families truly have become one and that is the kind of bond everyone hopes to have someday… and I’m so glad they do.
Lindsay — I teared up during your father- daughter first look and dance to A Whole New World, it was perfect. And Tony — I have to say, you’re quite a dancer? This was unexpected and well appreciated. Also, I can tell that you truly adore Lindsay and will do just about anything to make her happy. To Connie and everyone else who worked so hard to plan and put this beautiful day together — it was stunning and meaningful, and we were so honored to be there.
We can’t wait to see what the future holds for you two (and your cat) and hope these photos bring a smile to your faces for many many years to come.

You know what they say… you haven’t really earned your spot in the bridal party unless you can actually win a race in your dress shoes.
And you know what else they say? When it’s been a long day, your photographer should tell you to play a good song and dance it out on a random breezy rooftop while the sun sets.
