Where do we even start with Aaron and Sarah. First of all, we hate them for living our best life in Southern California. Second of all, we hate them for living in Southern California. BUT we love them for every other reason. This wedding was perfection and we were so honored that they chose us (without even meeting us) to celebrate and document their day. It was our first Jewish wedding, and it was so beautiful, special, and full of tradition.

We were so excited to shoot this beautiful fall wedding at The Brauer Barn in Winnebago, IL. Granted, it felt more like a mid-July wedding rather than late September, but for the purposes of this blog we're going to pretend it wasn't 1,439 degrees. By the way, if you're looking to have a barn wedding in the area - definitely look up The Brauer Barn! Not only is it a gorgeous space, but the owners are super awesome to work with and very accommodating.

Well, I have to say this wedding was the first time I've ever experienced someone cutting a foot of the bride's dress with a pocket knife so she could dance better. In my opinion, it was the absolute right decision - it's not like you're ever wearing it again. And a girl gotta dance.

I'm facing two important issues right now. 1) I have no idea how to select only a few of these pictures for this blog. 2) I'm really hungry.
That being said, Josh and Michelle's wedding was incredible. We were so excited to be shooting the first wedding at Hazzard Free Farm in Pecatonica, IL. It was rustic and vintage and all the things make me happy. We had rain, we had clouds, we had a last minute ceremony location change, and it all couldn't have ended up any better. Somehow, we just attract awesome, easy going clients. It's probably due to my extensive screening process.
