So obviously I'm a little behind on my fall wedding blogs. It's only March, but who's counting. This wedding was a completely different experience - so laid back. So easy! I'm facing two important issues right now. 1) I have no idea how to select only a few of these pictures for this blog. 2) I'm really hungry.
That being said, Josh and Michelle's wedding was incredible. We were so excited to be shooting the first wedding at Hazzard Free Farm in Pecatonica, IL. It was rustic and vintage and all the things make me happy. We had rain, we had clouds, we had a last minute ceremony location change, and it all couldn't have ended up any better. And that's the most important thing on anyone's wedding day: that we are excited.

Listen. This blog isn't about me...but it's going to be about me for like three seconds. When I was growing up, I watched Father of the Bride with my dad every other weekend - rotated, obviously, with What About Bob. I always wanted my wedding to be just like that, minus my dad losing his mind and getting thrown in the slammer over hot dog buns. Needless to say, this wedding is as close as you could probably get. It was classic, gorgeous, full of sentimental touches, and I loved every minute of it. And I might have lived vicariously through it. No big deal.
