So I came home from this wedding with a camera bag full of kleenex. I wish I could say it was due to all the happy tears, but it was definitely more because I came down with a massive sinus infection the night before. So I need to extend my apologies to anyone involved with or attending this wedding if I happened to look a tad miserable at any point. It wasn't you, it was me. If there was an award for best smelling wedding reception - Ryan + Amanda's wedding would get it. Not only was lavender one of the accent colors, but the entire reception tent smelled of fresh lavender. We were all very relaxed and ready for sleep.
Not really. Everything was too awesome for that, but the smells were a bonus for sure.

SO... we've encountered a serious problem. Not as serious as when our AC stopped working a week ago, but close. We're running out of Blumer sister's weddings to photograph. Granted, Cole and I are happy that everyone is married, but this is a major dilemma. For us, anyway. Last year, we photographed Matt + Kory's wedding, and this year we got to shoot her sister Kelsey's wedding. To say we were excited about a Blumer family reunion would be slightly understating it. They are just bomb... polka dancing and all. Actually, that might be my favorite part?

Well, I have to say this wedding was the first time I've ever experienced someone cutting a foot of the bride's dress with a pocket knife so she could dance better. In my opinion, it was the absolute right decision - it's not like you're ever wearing it again. And a girl gotta dance.
